Applies to Kalavinka releases starting with v0.9.0 (2026-10-03).

1. Scope
This license covers the first-party Kalavinka software, its source and compiled
code, application design and documentation, except material expressly identified
as separately licensed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. This is not an open-source
license. Public access to source code does not itself grant permission to reuse it.

2. Official application use
You may access the official Kalavinka web application and use its published
controls to generate and listen to music, free of charge, including while working.
You may make the browser copies technically necessary for this use. This grant
does not authorize deployment of another copy of the application or incorporation
of the software into another product or service.

3. Reserved rights
Except as permitted above, by applicable law, by a separate written permission
from Yakshawan, or by an applicable third-party or previously granted license,
you may not copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, sell, self-host, republish,
or create derivative software from the covered material, in whole or in part.
Inspection of publicly accessible source does not grant a general reuse license.
The restrictions concern the software and its associated materials, not ordinary
listening or a claim of ownership over audio generated through the application.
No trademark license is granted.

4. GitHub and third-party rights
Nothing here limits rights provided by GitHub's Terms of Service for content
published there, including viewing and forking through GitHub's functionality.
Separately licensed components retain their own licenses and copyright notices.
Those licenses govern those components, not the entire Kalavinka application.

5. Earlier releases
Releases through v0.8.0 were published under AGPL-3.0-or-later. This license does
not revoke or restrict rights previously granted for those releases or their
code. Their original notices and license remain available in Git history.

6. No warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW,
YAKSHAWAN IS NOT LIABLE FOR CLAIMS, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM
THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE. Mandatory rights under applicable law are unaffected.
